Erin says that personal training is a fantastic, rewarding career. Every person that she trains teaches her something. Above that, it is a great reward to see each person's progress and personal development. As a trainer at Body Styles by Mel, she is also, involved in group fitness classes. And just as much as she loves to be the teacher, she loves to be the student, continually learning.

Her certification is from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) with a BS in Nutrition, Dietetics. Nutrition has always been an interest of Erin's. Her primary focus within nutrition is healing effects of food on the human body. She enjoys providing nutrition education (seminars, lectures, etc). Knowledge is the necessary element for dietary change and a healthier lifestyle. Another personal interest is kettlebells, an exercise tool from Russia. "I enjoy them for the explosive strength and cardiovascular work that kettlebells provide. My philosophy is that no road is too long, too steep, or too difficult if taken one step at a time."
