Frequently Asked Questions

Q- What type of gym is Body Styles by Mel?
A- We are not a typical gym. You are not left by yourself to figure out "what to do next". When you come in it is to work with a personal trainer or to participate in a group fitness class.

Q- What kinds of memberships do you offer and what are the initiation fees?
A- Again, we are not a typical gym. You will never pay any initiation fees, and you are never required to sign up for a membership. We have a variety of personal training packages and group fitness packages to meet everyone's needs.

Q- What group fitness classes are best for my fitness level?
A- We will work with you individually to determine which classes would best suit you. However, most of our classes are meant to accommodate all fitness levels and abilities. We are committed to working with each individual to help everyone reach their fitness goals.

Q- How do I become a client?
A- Call ahead to make an appointment, or come in during our business hours and we will gladly show you our facility and what we have to offer. Again, there are no memberships or initiation fees, allowing you to determine what best suits your fitness needs and schedule.

Q- Will I have access to cardio equipment outside of group fitness classes?
A- Yes. We have a state of the art cardio theatre which all clients are welcome to use during regular business hours.

Q- Do I have to be a member to do a group fitness class?
A- No. You can pay a drop-in fee of $15 anytime for a group fitness class. Again, no membership requirements or initiation fees!

Q- Do you have child care at your facility?
A- No, but we do have many children's program. The times of most programs coincide with adult group fitness classes. These classes are offered for youth ages 3 and up.

Q- Can my child participate if he/she is not potty trained?
A- No. A child may not participate unless he/she is potty trained.

Q- What types of programs do you offer for young members?
A- We offer Youth Total Conditioning classes, Beginner's Youth Total Conditioning, Tumbling, and Learning through Movement classes. Classes are offered for youth ages 3 and up.

Q- Do you rent out space at your training center?
A- Right now, BSBM contracts out our AstroTurf/Athletic Field. See Rental Contract for details.
